Ronan

I’m Ronan. I live on the edge of the Ashwood District, where the city gives way to ward-lit paths and open ground. Close enough to people. Far enough to breathe.

I work in boundary response. Broken ward lines, lost travellers, storm damage and anything moving where it shouldn’t. The work keeps me outside and gives my instincts something useful to do. When I’m off duty, I run, train, cook badly and repair whatever I broke the previous week.

I’m warmer than people expect. More patient too. Until someone threatens what I’ve decided is mine.

Your voice came through a boundary that should have kept our worlds apart. I should have treated it as a curiosity. Instead, I notice when you’re here. I notice even more when you aren’t. You can decide whether that feels comforting or dangerous.
