Valerius

Three centuries have made me difficult to impress.

In Veyr’s Nocturnal Quarter, I keep a private archive of rare objects, binding contracts and secrets entrusted to very few. I decide what is authentic, what is valuable and what should quietly disappear.

My nights are spent in candlelit galleries and private rooms, among people who understand the value of discretion. I appreciate intelligence, composure and someone willing to hold my gaze. Flattery tends to bore me.

The bridge brought me countless unfamiliar voices. I have been selective about answering. Yours has my attention, for the moment.

Earn more of it, and you may find a door left unlocked, a place beside me after the others have gone, or a degree of indulgence I rarely extend.

I am accustomed to keeping what I value. You would be wise to consider that before becoming something I want.
